    Service Overview

    Forestry Mulching

    - Land clearing method that uses a single machine to cut, grind, and clear vegetation.
    - A forestry mulching machine, also referred to as a forestry mulcher, masticator, or brushcutter, uses a rotary drum equipped with steel chipper tools (“teeth”) to shred vegetation. They are manufactured as application-specific tractors and as mulching attachments (“mulching heads”) for existing tracked and rubber-tired forestry tractors, skid steers, or excavators.
    - Heavy duty forestry mulchers can clear up to fifteen acres of vegetation a day depending on terrain, density, and type of material. Forestry mulchers are often used for land clearing, right-of-way, pipeline/power line, and wildfire prevention and management, vegetation management, invasive species control, and wildlife restoration.

    Land Clearing

    - Land Clearing is removing trees, stumps, and other vegetation from wooded areas.
    - This means that the land being cleared is suited for the proposed land use considering the needs of the natural resources for sustainability.
    - The plan also provides for measures necessary to protect the cleared area from erosion and minimize adverse effects on fish and wildlife.

    Site Prep

    - Site preparation is a critical step in the building process of a structure.
    - Site preparation involves the demolition or wrecking of buildings and other structures, clearing of building sites and sale of materials from demolished structures. Site preparation also entails blasting, test drilling, landfill, levelling, earth-moving, excavating, land drainage and other land preparation. Also included are tunnelling, overburden removal and other development and preparation of mineral properties and sites, except oil and gas sites.
    - The creation of a “pad”, aka leveling the ground and packing the dirt tight to have a stable working surface.
    - It is understood that dirt will eventually change a bit and move, but once your structure is placed and built, the actual integrity of the structure allows it to flex and adjust with the small amount of change in the dirt over time. If you add concrete flooring to your structure, it adds even more stability.

    Dirt & Gravel Work

    - This typically includes shaping, sloping or crowning, culvert pipes and swales. We then compact to provide a firm base and install gravel aggregates based upon the type of use the area will see and your particular needs. Finally, the gravel surface is firmed up and sealed by wheel rolling or vibratory compaction.
    - All of these steps are key elements for a longer lasting, better performing and more durable gravel surface. If any of these elements are left out, water has no place to go…potholes form and your gravel begins to disappear.
    - Use Earths' most resourcful materials as your parking lot or your driveway.

    Ditches

    - A narrow channel dug in the ground, typically used for drainage alongside a road or the edge of a field.
    - Cleaning water ways of debris and or dirt that has blocked the Ditch.
    - Adding a free flowing pathway for water through driveways.

    Post Hole

    - Dug up soil Soil excavated from the hole, usually sitting in a pile next to the hole ready for backfilling. Ideal sequence will be that the dug up soil will have material dug through first at the bottom of the pile, with material from deeper down on top of the pile. In optimal situations, the location of dug up soil can be detected adjacent to filled postholes, especially where subsoil differs markedly from the surface material.
    - The cut needs to be distinguished from the fill in any detailed stratigraphic analysis, in the same way that any pit fill has to post-date the cutting of the pit, even if by minutes.

    Tractor Mowing

    - We offer mowing services to fit all of your needs. Whether you are looking for monthly tractor mowing for your property, or just need it done once, Reeves Services can help. We work closely with city code enforcement officers to keep your property from being in violation.

    Ranch Roads

    - The physical environment of the road includes such factors as the slope of the land, the types of bedrock and soils through which the road passes, as well as surface and subsurface drainage across the alignment Together, these physical factors determine the best choice for road location in a watershed, as well as the most suitable techniques for constructing a stable, low-maintenance road.
    - Other considerations may also dictate road size. For example, in erodible, unstable or steep terrain, small narrow roads are often preferred because of their lower environmental impact. Spur roads and other low volume roads are often narrower and of lower standard than trunk roads that service large areas or serve as major connecting links in the road network.

    Pads

    - Foundations (Pads) provide support for structures, transferring their load to layers of soil or rock that have sufficient bearing capacity and suitable settlement characteristics. They can be used to help to prevent settlement and other movements of structures and can permit construction on ground that might otherwise have insufficient bearing capacity.
    - A series of discrete, well-separated pads.
    - Balanced base pads that support more than one point load.
    - Continuous pads, where there are a number of point loads close together.
    - Pad and beam, where a series of pads support a continuous beam.
    - Pad foundations can be selected as they do not require much excavation, and are generally suitable where the bearing capacity of ground is sufficient at relatively low depths. However, they can be large in plan shape and may not be effective against differential settlement, uplift forces or wind forces.

    Grading

    - Grading of land means to cut dirt from a high spot and fill in a low spot, when grading and leveling, dirt is removed from high points and placed in low places making a level area, this type grading is known by excavating contractors as a ” cut and fill ” type grading.
    - Grading of land is also known as land leveling in some areas, land leveling is done by grading large fields for farm use or to allow water for irrigation of large fields planted for crop lands.
    - Grading is used by construction contractors to level soil or material for base use of buildings, roadways, parking lot base, driveway base, sub grade base and landscaping contractors use grading of lawns when final grading around new home buildings and other uses not mentioned.

    Metal Building

    - Steel buildings first gained popularity in the early 20th century. Their use became more widespread during World War II and significantly expanded after the war when steel became more available. Steel buildings have been widely accepted, in part due to cost efficiency. The range of application has expanded with improved materials, products and design capabilities with the availability of computer aided design software.
    - Steel is structurally sound and manufactured to strict specifications and tolerances.
    - Any excess material is 100% recyclable.
    - Steel does not easily warp, buckle, twist or bend, and is therefore easy to modify and offers design flexibility.
    - Steel is also easy to install.
    - Steel is cost effective and rarely fluctuates in price.
    - Steel allows for improved quality of construction and less maintenance, while offering improved safety and resistance.
    - The propagation of mold and mildew in residential buildings, using steel minimizes these infestations.
    - Mold needs moist, porous material to grow.
    - Steel studs do not have those problems.

    Metal House

    - Metal buildings have long been the preferable method of construction for industrial, commercial and institutional uses. Today, however, more and more people are choosing to utilize a metal building system as their residential space too.
    - Have you heard the term “barndominium?” People are using the term to describe the dual use of a metal building system as both a residence and shop, barn or recreation space. The advantage of this type of construction is that the residential and utility spaces share the same roof and walls which reduces overall construction costs.
    - Structural damage caused by termite infestation is a perpetual concern with wood construction. Termite damage is not typically discovered until there is already a need for substantial repair. The annual cost of preventing termite damage is eliminated with a metal building.

    Land Clearing

Land Clearing helps in so many ways and becomes very benificial to land owners. One of the reasons this helps is to keep a better eye out for dangerous snakes that hide under ground cover.

Also this will help bring in more natural light. Even when it rains the water will have a greater chance of helping the eco system produce more food for farm animals for Ranchers.

Land Clearing can help Real Estate agents also to potential land buyers.

    Reeves Services

Our company was founded in 2012 and became Established in 2017.

We are a family orientated business, Jonathan grew up doing this type of work. To him this is his passion and being able to do the kind of work brings the kind of proudness anyone likes to have in their life. Like most small companies, we rely on repeat business and customer referrals...and those things don't happen unless you provide superior service. We make sure all work is done in a profesional manner always.

    Let's Face It...

In today's business world, anyone can buy and rent the necessary tools they need to get the job done themselves. I mean sure you can go to the closes hardware store and heavy equipment rental store. But that does not mean that you have all the time to get what you want done in a timely manner.

Anyone can purchase a set of dental tools. But that doesn't mean that you want just anyone to give you a root canal. It is the individual using that tool that enable the results. You need someone who has the training, the understanding on how of what your wanting done; your going to need someone that has the knowledge necessary to allow you to become stress free of what your wanting done on or to your land.

Let the dentist fix that broken crown. Let your accountant find your tax breaks.

But let us clear, prep, or build for you on your land.
